FDYS Wonderland is a community-based early years service supporting children and families in Enniscorthy. The centre provides full-day, part-time and sessional childcare for children from approximately one to five years of age in a safe, caring and inclusive environment. Wonderland aims to support children’s emotional, social, physical and educational development through play-based learning and structured activities designed around the Aistear and Síolta early childhood frameworks.

The service places a strong emphasis on outdoor play, creativity, friendship and positive relationships between children, staff and families. There are variety of activities including seasonal celebrations, fundraising events, educational workshops and outdoor learning experiences that encourage children’s confidence and wellbeing. The centre also works closely with parents and the wider community to create a supportive atmosphere where children can thrive.

FDYS Wonderland accepts national childcare support schemes such as ECCE, NCS and AIM, helping families access affordable early years education and care. Inspections and mentoring programmes from the Department of Education and Better Start have supported the centre in maintaining and improving the quality of its childcare services over recent years.
