FDYS New Ross Early Years -
Scoil Spraoi na Leanai
Opening Days and Times : Monday – Friday 9.00am – 1.00pm
FDYS Scoil Spraoi provides a warm, inclusive, and community-focused early years environment where young children are encouraged to learn, play, and grow with confidence. Based in New Ross, the service supports children from approximately two and a half years of age to school age, offering a caring setting that values each child’s individual development. The centre follows a play-based curriculum inspired by the national Aistear and Síolta frameworks, helping children develop social, emotional, physical, and communication skills through creative and hands-on experiences.
Community is at the heart of Scoil Spraoi’s approach. Staff work closely with parents and guardians to build strong relationships and create a supportive partnership between home and preschool. Children are encouraged to explore both indoor and outdoor learning spaces, promoting independence, curiosity, and teamwork in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. The service also supports accessibility for families through ECCE and NCS childcare schemes, ensuring that quality early years education is available to the wider community. Highly qualified educators provide nurturing guidance while encouraging children to express themselves, make friends, and prepare confidently for their transition into primary school.
