It’s Festival Time

It’s time to kick back and enjoy the summer, to help you fill in those long summer days we have put together a  list of some of the upcoming  festivals around the country, all that’s left for you to do is to find the right  one and enjoy..

Tent? . Wellies? . Flowery hairband that hasn’t seen daylight since last year

 Live at the Marquee Cork

These concerts will be on until the 13th July. Headliners include Little Mix, Tom Jones and The Pixies. Tickets are still available for most concerts and range from €28-€65.45.

 Beyoncé – The Formation World Tour

This will take place for one night only in Croke Park on Saturday July 9th. Tickets range from €74.50 – €144. The cheapest tickets of €49.50 are no longer available.

 Galway International Arts Festival

Galway’s International Arts Festival will take place until Sunday 24th July. The festival will involve music, spectacles and theatre, and aims to unlock people’s creativity and hidden potential. Tickets for concerts vary from €10 – €45.

Vodafone Comedy Festival

Laugh your way down to the comedy festival from 28th-31st July, featuring seasoned and upcoming comedians such as Neil Delamere, Foil Arms & Hog, and PJ Gallagher. Ticket pricing ranges from approximately €25 – €30.

 Longitude

A fan festival favourite returns to Marlay Park from 15th – 17th July. Tickets are still available online, with day tickets costing €64.50 and weekend tickets costing €159.50. Confirmed acts include Kendrick Lamar, The National, Chvrches and Jamie XX.

 Gaze International LGBT Film Festival

This will take place from 28th July – 1st August in Lighthouse Cinema, Smithfield Square. The official opening will be in the National Concert Hall on Saturday 18th June at 8pm for the Gala Concert. Tickets are still available and range from €12 – €39.50.
