EIL Intercultural Learning is an Irish not for profit organisation facilitating learning mobility programmes for over 2,000 people every year. Our Volunteer Abroad Programme offers flexible and varied opportunities all year round. Projects are available in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Our programmes involve supporting local community projects while learning about a new culture and gaining a new perspective on global issues. They are designed to foster intercultural learning, personal development, civic engagement and global citizenship. While our volunteering programmes are challenging by nature, our participants are supported by our staff in Ireland, as well as by local staff based overseas; both have years of experience in supporting international volunteers. The work of EIL Intercultural Learning is underpinned by a set of core values and guiding principles which include the organisation’s not for profit status, it’s commitment to the safety and wellbeing of participants and it’s endorsement of the principles of equality, inclusiveness, sustainability and diversity. At all times EIL strives to achieve the highest standards and to employ best practices.
