Be safe in the Sun

It’s summer holiday time again. Everyone is looking forward to spending a much time as possible outdoors in the sun, at the beach, in the local park or in the garden but have you remembered to put on your sunscreen?

By wearing sunscreen and reapplying it every 2 hours and after swimming you greatly reduce your chances of sunburn and developing skin problems later in life and let’s face it there is nothing attractive about looking like a cooked lobster!

For simple tips on how to protect yourself and your family in the sun follow the advice of the Irish Cancer Society and use sunscreen, wear sunglasses, cover up and spend some time in the shade.
